Mother’s Day Part 2: 4th Street In Motion

Our next stop was to the 4th Street In Motion. I’d heard about it, but there were 2 deciding factors.
#1 Lisa from the LB Depot For Creative Reuse told me they’d have a booth there.

#2 My Twitter friends @ Kafe Neo said they were sponsoring the Rock Wall. What?! Rock wall?! We’re so there.

The Rock Wall actually ended up being our very first stop! Ryan went for advanced, & made it to the top. Michael did the beginner part. He’s never actually made it to the top. So as he got higher & higher, we started cheering more & more, & TA-DA! He made it!

Next stop, open (an indie bookstore). Bought a zine (“34 Essays”, interesting). Also talked to an employee about how to submit my zine for them to sell. Exciting!

Continuing on we checked out the booths, shopped at the Depot’s booth (of course!), ate at the Calbi BBQ Food Truck

(fusion tacos, delish!). I adore food trucks! I just wish more would come out to LB!

After lunch we stopped at the Assistance League Thrift Shop. Never been in, always wanted to! Got a few boxes/bags for my store, buttons, Hello Kitty lunchbag (lol), even a CUTE mini Japanese set perfect for the dollhouse! It’s a red

oval carpet, screen, & mahjong tile. Adorable!

After all that shopping, it was time for pampering. Atlantic Studio was offering $5 haircuts, so I finally trimmed my hair

& got layers. Nice!

Hit the Rock Wal yet again…

Last stop was Songbird. I’m rather enamored by that store!!! I need to go back on payday LOL

Only bad part of the day? We loaded up to leave & Ryan realized his motorcycle was dead! He accidentally left the key

in the ignition, so it drained the battery. He called for a tow, verified they were coming, & Mom & I took the kids home.

But overall it was a FABULOUS event & a FABULOUS day!

(More pics posted tomorrow!)
